Using cigar boxes has become a very popular stamping project. Better yet, used cigar boxes are usually priced right, free! Although, I have heard many stores are now charging for used cigar boxes. No matter what the price is, one potential drawback to using cigar boxes is the strong cigar smell they may inherit.
Here are a few suggestions we have been told stampers are using to remove the smell:
Bounce dryer sheet
Piece of charcoal
Potpourri oil
Coffee Beans
Printed newspaper, leave it in the box for a few days
Depending on how strong the cigar smell is, some have had success just leaving the box open to air out for a few days.
